Hello! I am Lynne Newman and welcome to my website SINGING FOR EVERYONE. All of the pictures on this website are real, taken in real life teaching and performance situations. I am the one in the top left corner on this page. I am a tall woman with very long hair and often you can see me in these pictures with my hands either on the piano keys or held up in the "V" for Victory stance, as my wonderful students shone in their vocal performances. I have taught a LOT of people over the 18 years I have been teaching, every single one beautiful and every single one I am extremely proud of! Thanks to you all for your permission to use the pictures on this website which is, in a way, a testimonial to all of you for your courage, your trust in me and my method, and for your general fabulousness in having the guts to train your voices and get up there and SING!
No matter what happens in my life, I shall always teach singing. Why? Because singing is special, and I would have loved to have a singing teacher like me! I teach singing, piano, guitar, in fact music in general, but my speciality is singing. My teaching combines two of my passions, music and honesty. I tell the truth and share my experience from the hundreds of professional gigs I have performed, and continue to perform, in both duo and band situations. I am a singer, composer and musician which gives me a unique view of singing. I play piano and guitar, have won awards for songwriting and am currently working hard to become fluent on flute. Having completed my Bachelor Degree studies in Music History, I am currently two thirds of my way through studying for my Masters of Letters Degree in Creative Writing. Yay! I have taught countless people to sing, both privately and through my singing course SINGING FOR EVERYONE which ran at the University of New South Wales for fourteen years. I taught JAZZ VOCALS and MUSICAL NOTATION for Eastern Suburbs Community College and JAZZ VOCALS for Sydney Community College. Check out the testimonials which were all earned with sweat.

For the professionals out there, if you want to keep your chops up, this technique is a great way of doing just that. It only takes a few minutes each day.
After almost two decades of teaching, I finally release my book called "SINGING FOR EVERYONE. I took my time (a few years) and wrote down my method, just in case I got hit by a bus. This method is just too good to die with me. My Book, SINGING FOR EVERYONE with accompanying CD, is now available for purchase. You can pay online via Paypal, using your credit card. You are then sent a link with your receipt number. You then have a week to go online and download the book which is in pdf format, and the accompanying CD which is in wave file or mp3 format. Remember to keep your receipt number and always quote this number if you email me for advice.
